About Hoome

Who makes Hoome

My name is Pierre, and I am a freelance full-stack developer. I have been building websites for several years, along with tools that make people more productive by helping them get organised. Hoome is the first extension I have published: a new tab page for Chrome that keeps your sites in folders.

My personal website: pierrepocheron.fr.

What guides Hoome

• Your data stays with you. Shortcuts, folders, notes and tasks are stored in your browser, and no version of Hoome measures how you use it.
• No advertising. Hoome lives off its optional Premium version, not off your attention.
• No account required. Only Premium asks for one, and it knows nothing but your email address and your subscription, and the copy of your desks while sync is on, with Premium.
• Never lose data. Automatic backups, an export to a file, and a recovery if the browser loses something.

The blog

The blog shows how to get more out of Chrome’s new tab page, with or without Hoome. Every feature it describes is checked against the extension itself.
