Refund policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026.
Thirty days, no reason needed
If Premium is not for you, you get a full refund within thirty days of your payment, without having to explain yourself. This covers all three plans: monthly, yearly and lifetime.
That is more than the fourteen day withdrawal period the law provides for digital content. We would rather nobody paid for a tool they do not use.
How to ask
Two ways, as you prefer:
- write to
contact@hoome.devwith the email address of your account, and we will request the refund for you; - or go straight to Paddle, our merchant of record, at paddle.net. Paddle finds your order from your email address or your invoice number.
The refund goes through Paddle, our merchant of record: they process it, then send it back to the payment method you used. Allow a few working days on each side, their processing and then your bank posting it. If you see nothing after two weeks, write to contact@hoome.dev and we will chase Paddle.
During the trial there is nothing to refund
The fourteen day trial on the yearly plan charges nothing before the fifteenth day. Cancel before then, from the “My account” page, and you will not be billed.
What happens to your data
A refund ends Premium, never your data. Nothing is deleted: your folders, shortcuts, notes, automatic backups and chosen background stay exactly where they are, in your browser.
The extension simply returns to the free version, whose limits apply to creating new items only: what you already have stays whole and editable.
After thirty days
Past that point, a monthly or yearly subscription is no longer refundable, but stays cancellable at any time: access continues until the end of the period already paid for, with no further charge.
If a technical problem stops you using what you paid for, write to us. We would rather fix the fault, and failing that refund you, than hide behind a date.
